When an item is out of stock, the impact goes far beyond a single missed sale. Customers may buy the entire list elsewhere—or choose not to return at all. Over time, those lost opportunities add up to real revenue loss.
The PaladinNsight™ Lost Opportunity tool helps you prevent that. It estimates the revenue you’re likely losing due to out-of-stock items and highlights products that need immediate attention so you can retain customers and protect sales.
When will I have this feature or update?
Features and updates are announced when they are completed, but are not usually available until the next general release.
This feature or update is available in your store when your Paladin Point of Sale build is the same or later than the build cited in this notice. You compare builds by number.
To determine if you have a feature or update, compare the feature and Paladin Point of Sale build numbers.
Example 1
- Your Paladin Point of Sale build number: 2_11
- Feature or update build number: 9766
You can use this feature or update because build 2_11 is later than build 9766.
Example 2
- Your Paladin Point of Sale build number: 2_11
- Feature or update build number: 2_430
You cannot use this feature or update because build 2_11 is earlier than build 2_430.

To find your Paladin Point of Sale build number, on the Help menu, click About. In the About Point of Sale window, look for the Version number. The build number is the first and third Version numbers with an underscore between them. If the first number is a 1, it is omitted.
